As a celebration of 25 years of the original Slim Shady EP release, Eminem has released a new album. The first single, “Houdini,” revives his bleach-blonde alter ego, hinting that the album, titled “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace),” will see the end of this character and start a new era in his music. The already iconic music video for the track features legends of rap, including Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg and more, as well as comedians Shane Gillis and Pete Davidson.

This anniversary release has started up the rumour mill – most importantly, questions are being asked about possible timings of a tour to accompany the record release. If he does return, it will without a date be one of the most anticipated UK tours in 2024.

Known by his real name Marshall Mathers III, Eminem is the bestselling hiphop artist of all time. The Detroit native has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and has won every accolade under the sun including Oscar, Grammy, and BRIT Awards.

With a back catalogue of international hits that include tracks like Love the Way You Lie, Without Me and Stan, Eminem is not only the biggest name in hip hop, he’s a global powerhouse with fans all over the world that will be clamouring for tickets when any tour dates are released.

Is Eminem touring the UK in 2024?

At the present moment, there have been no firm announcements that Eminem is set to hit UK stages this year. However, with the release of new music, there is a chance that he could be planning to tour his latest and greatest hits around the world. When that happens, make sure it’s a night to remember with our Eminem hospitality packages.

There have been rumours in the past couple of years that suggest Eminem is ready to return to stages across the US.  At the NFL Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles in 2022, the global rap superstar joined Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar to deliver one of the most memorable halftime shows in recent history.

Eminem’s performance however was the real showstopper. Joining the show late on the second verse of ‘Forgot About Dre’, Eminem would then drop a memorable performance of his 8 Mile classic ‘Lose Yourself’ that sent the stadium into a frenzy.

This was the first time hip hop had been the musical choice for the Super Bowl HalfTime show and what a choice it proved to be, with fans the world over relishing the performance.

On the back of this electric performance, the rumour mill began to churn with reports of an impending Eminem tour. An expectant UK fanbase has already been waiting since 2018 for the return of ‘Slim Shady’ to these shores and after five years, any announcement would certainly send the internet into meltdown.

There were rumours that he might hit stages at Glastonbury Festival in 2023, which suggested further dates in the UK, but this never came to fruition.
