When it comes to Formula 1, no event matches the spectacle of the F1 75 launch. This wasn’t just a showcase of the fastest cars on the planet... This was a full-throttle celebration blending cutting-edge automotive design with world-class entertainment.

Luckily, a couple of our team members had the privilege of attending the star-studded spectacle live. And, what a night it was!

A STAR-STUDDED LINE-UP

Jack Whitehall brought his signature wit, hosting the event with charm and cheek. He made sure to keep the energy electric from start to finish. Joining him on stage were F1 TV presenters Laura Winter, Ariana Bravo, and Lawrence Barretto. This amazing team offered expert insights while sharing the spotlight with some of the biggest names in entertainment. Celebrity guests like Gordon Ramsay and Idris Elba added an extra layer of glamour, mingling with fans and drivers alike. But the show didn’t stop there – a stellar lineup of musical performances elevated the night to legendary status. Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) delivered an explosive mix of rap and rock. Followed by, Brian Tyler’s "Are We Dreaming" left the crowd in awe before the Alpine livery reveal. Kane Brown brought a slice of Nashville to the arena with his distinctive country flair. Take That closed the night with fan-favourite hits like "Greatest Day," flooding the room with nostalgia. Aston Martin's reveal was made even more unforgettable by Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems, whose soulful performance added a unique touch to the glitzy affair.

THE LIVERIES: UNVEILING THE FUTURE OF F1

Of course, the F1 75 event was all about the cars. Here’s a breakdown of the striking liveries unveiled for the 2025 Formula 1 season:

McLaren

The reigning constructors' champions took the wraps off the MCL39, staying true to their signature black and papaya aesthetic. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri return as teammates, ready to defend their title and continue their dominance on the grid.

Ferrari

Arguably the most anticipated reveal of the night, Ferrari showcased the SF-25 with their superstar lineup of Charles Leclerc and seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. Clad in the iconic red for the first time, Hamilton described his move to the Scuderia as "invigorating," hinting at a fresh chapter for the Maranello team.

Red Bull Racing

Red Bull Racing knows how to make an entrance, and their reveal was no exception. With the Rolling Stones' "Start Me Up" blaring through the speakers, the reigning champions kept their classic colour scheme intact. Max Verstappen, eyeing yet another title, is now joined by rising star Liam Lawson – a pairing sure to make waves.

Mercedes

In the post-Hamilton era, all eyes are on George Russell and rookie Kimi Antonelli. The Silver Arrows revealed a subtly revised livery, but the real question lingers – can they rediscover the race-winning form that slipped through their fingers last season?

Aston Martin

Aston Martin’s reveal at the O2 Arena was nothing short of spectacular. With F1 design legend Adrian Newey now in their corner, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll introduced a car that is "close to 100% new." While the livery hasn’t changed much, the technical upgrades could be the key to unlocking new potential.

Alpine

Staying true to their blue and pink theme, Alpine unveiled their 2025 challenger alongside Jack Doohan and Pierre Gasly. With Doohan embarking on his first full F1 campaign, the team is eager to make a strong impression, especially at his home race in Melbourne.

Haas

Haas is betting big on their youthful new lineup. Oliver Bearman, after impressing as a 2024 super sub, steps up for his full-time debut alongside Esteban Ocon. The American team’s livery reveal was accompanied by exclusive footage from their private Silverstone shakedown, teasing fans with glimpses of their 2025 contender.

Racing Bulls

Perhaps the most dramatic transformation of the night came from Racing Bulls. Formerly known as RB, they showcased a bold new white livery as they welcomed F2 runner-up Isack Hadjar to the team alongside Yuki Tsunoda. With a new UK base near Red Bull's headquarters, expectations are high for the rebranded outfit.

Williams

While Williams first pulled the covers off the FW47 at Silverstone on February 14, the F1 75 launch marked the official unveiling of their 2025 racing livery. Fans were thrilled to see new recruit Carlos Sainz standing alongside Alex Albon, offering a tantalising glimpse of what this exciting driver pairing could deliver in the upcoming season.

Kick Sauber

Kick Sauber is gearing up for a major comeback ahead of Audi's full takeover. With mechanical and aerodynamic upgrades, the team unveiled their sleek new car with an all-new driver pairing: Nico Hülkenberg and reigning F2 champion Gabriel Bortoleto. Their ambitions for 2025 are clear – reclaim lost ground and push for the midfield battle.
